SPN Con Day 2 - Saturday

Just another brief post:

Richard Speight is hilarious. Very funny man. LOVE the photo op I got with him. Will be sharing later. Along with the Misha underwear story. CLASSIC! LOL

Aldis. Oh, Aldis. Lovely, lovely man. I got a hug in our photo op for being his first Q at the Q&A. :-D His questions were pretty evenly split between Leverage and SPN.

Then Jim. Who is just lovely. Kinda like Don Davis.

And finally, Misha........
If you've seen any pictures of Misha floating around, you know. Three piece suit, man. Crimson tie. Guh. He was very, very dapper. I felt underdressed. LOL And I have to say, we had a moment. :-) I was 2nd up to the microphone for Q&A (yay!). He commented on the faux-hawk. He liked it. We bonded. LOL :-) And then we had the photo op. I got to touch Misha. asldkjf;asdokfg Got a double thumbs up as I walked in and then kind of an eyebrow quirk. Probably cos of the fabulous hair. :-)

SPN Con Day 1 - Friday

Just a quick post about Friday before I head out for Saturday (MISHA DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!).

First, a couple programming notes:
Julie was supposed to be Friday with Alona and Traci, but she had to move to Sunday.
Jake had to cancel. Apparently he has a BIG AUDITION in the works. He was very apologetic about having to cancel at the last minute, but send out any good vibes you can for him.
In Jake's place we have - Richard Speight! The Trickster/Gabriel! Woot!! Think I'll be getting another autograph and possibly a photo op. Ya know, getting Gabriel a photo op with Gabriel. LOL

So, Friday we just had Alona and Traci. It was a quiet day, which was nice. Alona is adorable and Traci is HILARIOUS. Got just a few pics. Trying to get the settings right for the rest of the weekend.

So today is Richard, Aldis and MISHA!!!!!!!!!! OMG!! I'm stupidly excited for today, really. But, it should be epic. Catch ya later!!

So, late last week I got in the mail from Creation my photo op ticket for Misha. Just now, in my e-mail, I got my photo op ticket for Misha. So, I could try and get two photo ops, couldn't I? I got my other tickets from Creation today. This includes my admission ticket along with the autograph ticket for Aldis. I also have a photo op with Aldis, but they did not send a ticket for it. So, it seems like they are doing e-mail for some and ticket for others? I wonder if Misha got the tickets because he's almost as popular as J2 and so will have a lot? Easier with that many people to just do tickets for everyone? That could make sense, I guess. A little weird to just not do that for everyone, but when has Creation ever really made sense?

Notes: Set late season 4.

It's an accident the first time. Clothes getting mixed up in the laundry, trying to get dressed while only half awake. Dean just reached for the first thing on top of his duffle. He was half way out the door before he realized he was wearing one of Sam's hoodies. But it was warm and Dean really needed coffee, so he didn’t bother going back in to change.

The other times after that, Dean can't really say they were accidental. He wasn't sure why, but wearing Sam's hoodie made him feel…safe. It was too big and the edges were frayed. There were holes in some of the seams, but Dean didn't mind. It had been worn into that perfect state of softness.

Sometimes, when Sam was out with her (he refused to even think her name), Dean would sleep in it. Pretend Sammy was still there with him, that everything was okay. He hoped that one day it would be.

The concert was awesome. As I knew it would be. :-) It was at a new place: The Venue at the Horseshoe Casino over in Hammond. The theater was very nice. Comfortable seats, which was very good for me. :-) There were supposed to be two opening bands - One Republic and Carolina Liar. However, when we got there there was a sign that One Republic would not be performing due to illness. :-( That's OK. Meant the concert would be over a little sooner than intended. And that was OK with me as I was already very tired by the time we got there. So, we just had Carolina Liar. And I gotta say they were pretty awesome. I enjoyed them immensely. Think I'll be looking up their CD. They had already taken the stage by the time we got there after eating dinner and I guess something had happened earlier with the lead singer's guitar amp. Because near the end of their set, Rob came out with a small portable amp thing to fix it and it worked! Rob The Tech Geek to the rescue! LOL But, yeah, he's cool like that. :-)

Then, after about a half hour wait, IT WAS ROB!!!! Yay!!!!!!!! So, I will admit I tried to record the concert with the mic on my mp3 player. Sadly, it did not turn out. It's all distorted and sadly sounds like complete crap. :-( I guess the sound was too much for my wimpy little guy. LOL But, here is the set list:

TONIGHT IS THE ROB THOMAS CONCERT!!! Woohoo!!! I'm sooooooooo excited. LOVE him. He's so awesome. And today is going to be a long-ass day, too. We have our Halloween party at work. During which I am usually running around like a chicken with my head cut off trying to get all my work done plus all the stuff that needs to get done for that. I will be very tired tomorrow. But it will be worth it. :-D

OK, so, with that out of the way.

1) It was Bobby's turn to break my heart this week. Crying. Again. It's becoming a trend.
2) He-Witch gave Sam the clap with a clap. I laughed so hard I started crying. It was a good thing it went to commercial after that or I would have missed about 2 minutes of the show.
3) Old!Dean was actually pretty cool. I thought the actor did a good job at keeping Dean even being that old.
4) I like that the villain wasn't really a bad guy. I mean, he was a witch, yeah. But he was just kind of doing his thing. He wasn't holding a gun to anyone's head making them play. He wasn't cheating. He was just presenting an opportunity and people could take it or leave it. So, yeah. That was cool. Not just a "monster."

Um, I think that's it.

Next week's preview looks AWESOME!! The Trickster is back!! He's awesome. One of my favorite "baddies" of all SPN lore. Can't wait! Should be hilarious. :-)

White Collar

Watched the premiere of White Collar last night. And then the rerun this morning. :-D I really like it. It's fun, it's witty, it had Mark Sheppard. Hehe. ~~Bryce Larkin~~Matthew Bomer was fantastic, very charismatic. Very hot. It was nice to see Tiffani Thiessen on TV again. The FBI guy was pretty cool, too. I definitely miss my Psych, but this will do until they return.
